Aim
To sensitize, motivates and educate students and staff about environment conservation.
Objectives
- To create awareness among our students and staff about environment related issues
- Organize activities to reduce pollution in campus
- Aim for a plastic free campus
- Provide an exception to engage people instill conservation values, connect with the community and ultimately take action towards save species and their habits
Activities
- Seasonal vegetable garden to enlighten students in healthy living and healthy eating
- Nomenclature of trees and plants in and around campus
- Maintain bio aquatic system
- Engage students posted in PHD in maintenance of vegetable garden
- Observing plantation day
- Vermicomposting of biodegradable waste
- Maintenance of butterfly garden, herbal garden, nature trail by students
- Bio composting food waste from canteen and hostel in campus and used as organic manure for vegetable garden
- Community based activities such as planting trees flowers and community gardens
- Field trips like a visit to a museum or sanctuary, camping trips.
- Nature based arts and crafts might help children to learn the ecosystem and surroundings
