Objectives
Undergraduate program in Orthodontics is designed to enable the qualifying Dental Surgeon to diagnose, analyses and treat common Orthodontic problems by preventive, interceptive and corrective Orthodontic procedures.
- To provide quality Orthodontic care in an ethical manner and with interdisciplinary team approach.
- To lay foundation of basic knowledge and assimilate associated Orthodontics skills to understanding of the etiology, path of physiology and subsequently accurate diagnosis and treatment plan of various Orthodontic problems.
- To obtain proper clinical history, methodical examination of the patient.
- Deliver treatment care irrespective of the social status.

The Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics is one of the premier departments of the institution offering best personalized care to patients with various malocclusions and Dentofacial deformities. More than attaining an aesthetic confident smile, we focus on psychological uplifting and boosting the self-confidence of our patients.
Our speciality of dentistry is concerned with the study and treatment of malocclusions which range from irregularly positioned tooth to disproportionate jaws. Preventive and interceptive treatments procedures are being carried out so as to prevent the development of various malocclusions requiring major comprehensive treatments for its correction. The dentofacial orthopaedics deals with the control and modification of facial growth. Our department is also keen in carrying out various advanced treatment procedures in the field of orthodontics.
Our department focuses on making the learning environments conducive for students to achieve their goals in life. Our team of faculty is committed towards providing a holistic learning environment for an all-round development of the budding dental professionals.
