NATURE CLUB

The institutional NATURE CLUB aims to sensitize, motivate, and educate students and staff about the importance of environment-friendly practices. The primary objective is to create awareness about environmental issues and organize activities to reduce pollution on the campus, ultimately working towards a plastic-free campus. The club engages in various activities, including a seasonal vegetable garden that promotes organic farming and healthy eating and an herb garden devoted to medicinal plants. The club conducts community-based activities, such as planting trees, and community gardens, and observes tree plantation day, Earth Day, and Environment Day. The club engages in vermicomposting of biodegradable waste to produce organic manure for the gardens

BIRDS CLUB INTERNATIONAL

Additionally, AADC participates in the BIRDS CLUB INTERNATIONAL project. Birds Club International (BCI), initiated by Malayalam film director Mr. Jayaraj under the umbrella of the Jayaraj Foundation, aims to create rain groves in schools, colleges, and public places worldwide. The club aims to revive declining nature and its ecosystem by connecting students and the public through bird watching. With a great ambition of building over one lakh rain groves, this initiative can make significant progress in the climate crisis issue affecting both humans and other fellow species.

Al Azhar Dental College is dedicated to promoting green initiatives and environmental awareness among its students and staff. By engaging in various activities and initiatives, the college aims to create a healthier and sustainable environment for future generations.
