He has received the most promising dentist award by IDA Kerala State from Malanadu branch.
He has served as the editor for IDA Malanad journal and was selected for the national award as the best editor during his tenure. He has been an invited chairperson for national conferences and has authored numerous publications in national and international journals.
He is also a proficient administrator. Currently working as Institutional Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) cordinator, he has served as president of IDA Malanad branch and has won the state award for best president.
True to his dynamic personality, his interests transcend the boundaries of academics. He has served as the vice president of Idukki district cricket association for 17 years.
He takes special interest in students' welfare and is the head of the mentorship committee for first year students. He is also a member of research committee, curriculum committee, anti ragging committee, anti sexual harrasment cell and anti ragging squad.
