Dr. Afsal S M completed his graduation and Post-Graduation from Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore. He joined Al Azhar Dental College as Senior Lecturer in December 2022. He is a life member of Indian Academy of Oral
Medicine and Radiology(IAOMR). He has keen interest in Academics and Research. He is also passionate about advanced radiology (CBCT) and is into Implant Planning, Orthodontic Analysis, Surgical Guide Planning and 3D
printing. He is also working as consultant Maxillofacial Radiologist in various CBCT centres in Kerala. He is a trained Tobacco Cessation Expert (Yenepoya University). He received the second best paper award in IAOMR national
conference held in Khammam. He also attended various national and international conferences.
