Satellite centers refer to the dental clinics that are affiliated with the college and are located outside the main campus of the college. Satellite centers of a dental college are an essential part of the dental education system. They provide much-needed dental care services to underserved areas and offer valuable training opportunities for dental students. By partnering with satellite centers, dental colleges can prepare their students for successful careers in dentistry while making a positive impact on the oral health of the community.
Our institution has collaborated with Mariya sadanam, Pala and Divyarakshalayam, Kumaramangalam for various dental screening and treatment camps for mentally retarded inmates in these institutions.
