Dr Rema Jayalekshmy, known for her extraordinary diagnostic skills and a hawk eye for details, is a true master in recognizing the most intricate of lesions. A renowned orator, and stupendous trainer, she has conducted numerous CBCT workshops across the country. Well versed in Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) techniques and Interpretation, she is the most sought after consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist in many radiology centers. Additionally, she’s a recognized examiner for various undergraduate and postgraduate university examinations.  She has won laurels in paper and poster presentations at several national and international conferences.

She has played a pivotal role as the Scientific Committee Head Coordinator for the National PG IAOMR convention held in July 2014. She has authored a chapter titled “Andrographolide in Oral Diseases” in a book on Natural Therapies in Oral Care (under peer review), and also been a Contributor for the Handbook of Advances in Dental Science (Oral Medicine) by Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) 2019. She’s also  a trained Tobacco Cessation expert (‘ICanCaRe’, Gujarat University). Added to her credentials, she has authored more than 42 publications in various National and International journals.

Being a remarkable academician, her advice for the students is ‘Raise your standards high and always inspire yourself to raise the bar as to be a responsible professional and above all, rightful well being in the society you’re living in’.
