Dr Prijitha Alex, did her graduation from DA Pandu Memorial RV Dental College, Bangalore and post graduation from The Oxford Dental College, Bangalore. She also pursued Masters in Public Health (MPH) from School of Medical Education, Kottayam. She started her academic career as Assistant professor at Educare Institute of Dental Sciences, Malappuram and is currently working as Associate professor and Head of the Department at Al Azhar Dental College, Thodupuzha. Her areas of interest include Epidemiology and Biostatistics and has actively participated in various Epidemiological surveys. She is an active member of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPHD). She has many national and international publications to her credit.
