Students council Inauguration and Installation
On 1st January 2025 ,Students Council Inauguration and Installation ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and fanfare. The program started at Mini Auditorium with a prayer song. Students and faculty members of various departments were present. Prajyothi Omprakash (Vice Chairperson) welcomed all those who had gathered. Director of our institution Adv.K.M Mijas inaugurated the event, lending prestige and significance to the occasion. Our principal Dr.Vinod Kumar R B and our administrative officer Dr.Amal E A delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the importance of student leadership and the role of the union in fostering a vibrant campus life. The highlight of the event was the launch of the Students Council "Ithiha" along with its motto "History Meets Destiny" and logo. The name, motto, and logo launch added a touch of excitement and anticipation for the new academic session. The event also featured the installation of the new Students Union members, who were presented with badges and sashes denoting their positions. This ceremony marked the official beginning of their tenure and responsibilities.
Additionally, we released a Blood Donor Directory, a valuable resource that will facilitate blood donation and support in times of need which was a testament to our commitment to social responsibility. Yacob Sumon(Chairperson) delivered the acceptance speech and Pretty George(General secretary) delivered the Vote of Thanks. The program ended with the National anthem. Overall, the ceremony was a grand success, setting a positive tone for the new Students Council to take charge and work towards making a meaningful impact on campus life.
- IFTAR CELEBRATIONS - MEHFIL
Iftar Meet
On March 21, 2025, the Ithiha Students Council conducted an Iftar Meet in the evening at the college auditorium. The event was attended by Principal, students and staff, who gathered to break their fast and bond over a meal.
The Iftar started around 6:30 in the evening, and the spread of food was delightful. After breaking their fast and enjoying the meal, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a mehendi corner, creatively installed by the student council.
The auditorium was beautifully decorated, adding to the warm and festive atmosphere of the event. The Iftar Meet was a wonderful initiative by the Ithiha Students Council, promoting unity, togetherness, and community bonding among students and staff.
