Dr (Lt Col) Sunil R is a Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with 10 years of teaching experience. He did his graduation in BDS from The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University,Chennai.Later post graduation ,MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from AFMC, Pune. Further he did Advanced Specialist Course and Medical Officers Basic Course from AFMC and OTS Lucknow.He was commissioned in Indian Army Dental Corps and worked as Graded Specialist and Classified Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Jammu and Kashmir as well North eastern States for 16 years.He was selected and send on deputation to United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo.He served there with distinction and was awarded Force Commanders commendation.currently he is working as Reader in Al Azhar Dental College and Hospital,Thodupuzha,Kerala.In Oral Surgery he has keen interest in Trauma Management and Orthognathic Surgery. He has published a book and also has national and international publications.
